About YSEinDC

Virtual YSEinDC 2023 is an annual program for masters students at YSE organized by the Office of Career and Professional Development.  Approximately 100 students participate in employer meetings, career panels, and alumni conversations.

Why Participate in YSEinDC?

The program offers current students the opportunity to:

Why virtual employer visits?


Visiting with employers virtually is way for students to learn firsthand about a specific work organization or company and its environment. It is an opportunity to virtually step inside a headquarter and network with alumni and employers. Sessions organized by CPD in collaboration with employer hosts may consist of presentations with Q&A session, virtual tours, or panel presentations.

Why host a regional career program in Washington, DC?


Washington, DC is home to approximately 650 YSE alumni--our largest alumni concentration. Concentrated programming provides students an opportunity to meet a large number of alumni and employers in a short period of time.

YSEinDC also provides an unparalleled opportunity to explore the landscape of environmental work in the DC area and around the world.

YSEinDC is open to all current first-year and returning YSE graduate students. CPD staff members will co-host all virtual events.
