Wildlife and humans have increasingly complex interactions, balancing a myriad of potentially positive and negative outcomes. In a highly interactive format, students will evaluate the importance and vulnerability of human-wildlife interactions, factors that influence outcomes, and management interventions that promote coexistence. This class will leverage readings across disciplines and on-the-ground case studies across ecosystems and human cultures.
