This advanced course is designed for students who have already taken a water management course and want a chance to delve more deeply into the complex issues involved.  Our focus will be the ways that water and water services link urban and rural landscapes and populations, including direct water supply (including water quality protection), but also other water-related goods and services:  flood control, wastewater absorption, food and energy production, mining, and recreation.  Each linkage will be explored through instructor lectures and student case studies.
