Sustainable Food & Agriculture SIG aims to educate the YSE and larger Yale student body on the environmental issues and challenges of agriculture, and to highlight the agricultural ecosystem as an important component of ecosystem studies and management. It is also our goal to help students, staff, and faculty make the connection between the academic and the personal facets of agriculture, by illustrating how and where the food they eat is produced. The group works actively with local farmers and producers, as well as international agricultural and food system issues.
