A Ph.D. field course covering latest research topics in urban economics and in environmental and energy economics. Topics include the links between urban planning and city productivity and livability, infrastructure investments in electrification and water management, managing externalities, environmental regulation, effects of climate change in cities and in rural areas.
Prerequisites: First-year Ph.D. Economics courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics (or equivalent). Or instructor permission.
