Food Systems at the Yale School of the Environment
From climate change to biodiversity loss, our global food system contributes to some of the most pressing environmental challenges facing society today. Yet, the ways in which we produce, consume, and engage with food also hold immense transformative potential for people, plate, and planet. To build sustainable, equitable, and resilient food systems will require interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative solutions that effectively integrate policy, law, social justice, business, public health, conservation, and more.
At the Yale School of the Environment and across Yale’s campus, students can dig deeper into topics of food, agriculture, and the environment in a variety of ways, including research, coursework, programs, and initiatives.
