Important Academic Links

We encourage all incoming students to explore YSE’s website, the general Yale website, and this Yale links directory to learn more about all the incredible resources and opportunities available to you as students.

We know it can also be daunting to know where to find certain information, so as a starting point, the Academic Affairs team has curated a list of frequently used links to help you navigate your academic experience at YSE. While this is not an exhaustive list, it will be a good foundation for settling in your first few weeks and months at YSE. You are encouraged to bookmark these sites for easy and quick access:

Course Information
There are three primary ways to explore and access course information:
  • YSE’s internal course directory includes filters by semester, day of the week, and MEM specialization, along with a general search feature. The directory presents a two-year schedule to help students with course planning. Click on a course to view its description and basic details.
  • This is a database for all courses offered at Yale (except the Law School) and includes an extensive range of filters. Once you find a course, click on the blue “Syllabus” button to visit the course’s Canvas page.
  • To access all of your registered courses, go directly to https://canvas.yale.edu

Course Registration
Yale Hub (https://yub.yale.edu/) is the home for course registration and access to other important information, like viewing your grades.

Degree Audit
Tracking Your Academic Progress: Degree Audit tracks your progress toward completing degree requirements. Check this site often – especially before and after registration, after receiving final grades, and before graduation – to ensure you’re on track. Degree Audit even has a “What If” feature to show how potential courses would affect progress toward degree requirements.

Student Accessibility Services (SAS)
Yale’s SAS team is committed to promoting equitable access to education for students with disabilities. Visit this site to request accommodations for accessible and equitable educational access.

Yale Connect
Yale Connect is Yale’s official campus engagement platform, including for all of YSE’s Learning Communities.

Viewing Course Evaluations
Did you know you can look up course evaluations to see how students reviewed past courses? Visit the Course Evaluations site managed by the University Registrar and search by key terms.

Directories
Connecting with people throughout campus is one of the best ways to learn. To help make new connections, check out these sites: The Poorvu Center for Teaching & Learning
